Week 8 & 9

Holla everyone...holla world! :) We meet again for this week.

For this week we've learnt about "SPSS" ..
My first reflection -------->

I don't know what is SPSS.. I never heard about SPSS before...

But, after attending the class..... I started to understand about SSPS...

SPSS is a software for managing data and calculating a wide variety of statistics.
So, for this week, me and my partner, have to analyze data from the survey that we've done before, about "NETIQUETTE" ... :)

We've to installed SPSS first.

SPSS Statistics has three main windows, plus a menu bar at the top.
These allow you to :
  • see your data
  • see your statistical output
  • see any programming commands you have written
 Each window corresponds to a separate type of SPSS file.. :)

1. Click on icon "SPSS" that you've installed.
    and will be ----->

2. Then, click on "variable view" so that, u can see your data.
Before you can see your data, you've to enterd your question in shortform, your question type,

3. Then u click on "data view" - entrd the data that has been provided by respondents.
The data editor lets you see and manipulate your data.When you open an SPSS data file, what you see is     a working copy of your data. Changes you make to your data are not permanent until you save them (click FileSave or Save As). Data files are saved with a file type of .sav, a file type that most other software cannot work with. When you close your last Data Editor you are shutting down SPSS and you will be prompted to save all unsaved files.

4. After that, click on "analyze" to analyze your data.
Then u click descriptive statistics --> and frequencies.. :)

will be----->

Statistical results will show up in the Output Viewer.
your findings also can be seen in term of bar chart/ pie chart .. :)

So, that's all for this week... :)
~my final reflection ----->

see you again!

 ALLAH is always by your side... :)
